OK World was established in India in April 2012 by Bugge Wesseltoft and Shrikanth Sriram. The audience in Beirut will be able to listen to the African drummer Amadeu Cossa from Maputo, the percussionist Khaled Yassine from Beirut, the mrindagam player Vivek Rajagopolan from Mumbai and flamenco guitarist Josemi Carmona from Madrid.

The project was named OK World, to show that through music you can increase the understanding between people, regardless of any cultural, religious, political, geographical and most importantly musical boundaries. The world, despite all its madness, and unstableness, can be an OK place.
